Christmas Gifts

The snow has finally reached us in South Wales today. It's taken me three hours to get home from work, a trip that normally takes 20mins. The frustrating things is that the conditions weren't that bad, it was just gridlock trying to get out of the city.

Anyway, here are some pics of work done by girls. These tags were stitched by Rebecca (13) for some of her school friends.
and these were stitched by Gemma (10) for her friends.
They have all gone down very well.
If I don't get back on here before the special day, Merry Christmas everybody.

What's the weather like? I'm meant to be visiting my dad near Aberdare for Chirstmas and am getting a little thoughtful about the journey, and don't want to ask my dad in case he starts to worry.
The efforts by your daughters are really sweet!

They are all very cute! :)
Your daughters did really well. It's nice to see that there is still younger generations getting into cross stitch.

Merry Christmas!

Demeter - if you see this in time, as of 21st December main roads clear, lanes and side road slushy, some valley roads closed. But I'm only just in Wales (between the severn bridge and Newport)so can't really speak for Aberdare. We're not expecting any more snow before Christmas.
