Gone But Not Forgotten

I don't suppose for one minute that there is anybody still following this blog, but if any poor soul is still persevering you should know that I'm moving.  My stitching is no longer enough to keep a blog going so I have started a new one.  It will still cover my stitiching which will probably still be the main thrust of it to be honest, but it will also cover other things.

So if you are still out there, please join me at Cath's Witterings where we can continue this journey together.

Thanks for following!

Farewell.

Decision made

Decided I needed a quick stitch so I'm going to do the free kit that came with the latest issue of cross stitcher.  A cute little robin.

Success

I'm pleased to be able to say that I managed to stitch what I hoped I would last week, so here is Curl up with a good book:-

Nose and glass of wine pretty much completed.

I'm also pleased to say that Autumn Fairy was presented to MIL for her 70th Birthday at the weekend and she loved it, so another success.

Now on to that weekly dilema, what to stitch next!

Decisions Made!

So I've decided, this weeks stitching will be Curl Up With A Good Book.  I've only got one and a half pages to go to finish it so it seems the obvious choice.  This is what it looks like at the start of the week:-

Being realistic, I'm going to try to complete his nose and the bowl of the glass of wine.  We shall see how far I get.

Thanks for visiting!

Next?

One week on and it's time to think about what gets stitched next.  Dragonfly has progressed quite well although I didn't finish all the black for the page (might have had something to do with getting the Supernatural expansion pack for The Sims 3 and spending most of my spare time exploring that!).  Anyway, she looks like this now.

So there is definatley progress.  That little squre of black on the right hand side is the start of the next column and after that there is one more column of black to finish the page.

Autmn Fairy has been framed and is already to hand over as a gift next week.

So the question is, what next?  I think it will either be Curl Up with a Good Book or Celtic Summer.  We shall see.

Happy stitching and thanks for visiting.  Please feel free to leave a coment even if you're just passing through.

Rotation Day

I've been trying to post these pics for three days now, without any luck.  At last I've found a way around my problem so here it all is.

Ok, sunday is going to be the start of my rotations.  So having finished Autmn Fairy, I am going to move on to Dragonfly for this week.

Here is a picture of the finished Autumn Fairy.  It's not great, just realised there's a fold in the fabric so it looks like she is leaning backwards - whoops!  Anyway, she is being washed at the moment and I'll take another pic once she is framed.

Dragonfly looks like this

There is a lot of 310 to go on this page, but I'm about half way through it so hoepfully I might see some colour before the end of the week.
